More Information
We use 35 mm and 2 1/4" X 2 1/4" format film cameras, and several different digital cameras to make our images.
The 35 mm format film is usually Kodak MAX Versatility 400 ASA color print film.
The 2 1/4" X 2 1/4" format film is usually a Kodak Professional Portra 120 color negative 400 ASA film. The family of 400 ASA Portra Color Negative Films include 400NC for Natural Color photographs; 400BW is a Black and White film that is still C-41 processed, and 400UC is Ultra Color film and 400VC is Vivid Color film which makes colors jump out at you.
The film negatives can be digitized for us by outside vendors when a film camera is used to make the images.
Two of our digital cameras store images in .jpg format. One digital camera we use stores still images in .bmp format.
We can record 5 sec., 10 sec., 15 sec., 20 sec., or continuous .avi digital format video files.
We can burn the digital image files to CD for permanent storage.
